What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative position at A-1 Awards, Inc.?
We are a family-owned business that has been creating custom trophies and custom awards since 1958. Our largest contracts currently service athletic industries such as football, basketball, gymnastics, and more. We are looking for the right candidate to join our team and play a pivotal role in taking care of our existing clients, assisting management with tradeshows during the summer months, and work daily with our internal staff to ensure each project meets our clients’ expectations. The right candidate does not need industry specific experience because we will teach you everything you need to know! The right candidate will be capable of learning our product line quickly as we are about to hit our busy season. This person will have excellent communication skills and will be able to effectively help our clients as they place custom orders with us in preparation for their competitions, meets, games, and events. The right person will be a self-starter that doesn’t need to be micromanaged. The right candidate has a positive attitude, does their job with integrity, and treats everyone with respect and kindness!
Job Responsibilities will include:
· Answering inbound calls
· Responding to inbound emails from clients and new prospects
· Taking care of inbound online orders from our existing clients
· Ensuring accuracy of sales order details and necessary project information
· Learning our product lines, artistic capabilities, and current pricing in order to have knowledgeable conversations with our clients and well as our internal staff
· Communicate daily with our graphic design team and our production team to ensure each client’s project or order, meets their expectations.
· Helping with tradeshows during the summer months

Candidates must have the following:
· College Degree or 3 years of sales experience
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient computer skills
· High proficiency in typing
· Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
· Ability to accurately calculate quantities & prices, and work within the parameters of the clients’ deadlines for each order/project
· Ability to work under pressure and balance multiple orders/projects at once
· Willingness and ability to assist with tradeshows during the summer months
Additional consideration given for candidates with:
