Are you ready to join a winning team? A-1 Appliance, Bedding & Furniture is looking for a dedicated Delivery Helper to assist our drivers in delivering and installing home appliances and furnishings. We take pride in offering excellent service to our customers and are looking for team members who share the same commitment.
We conduct drug screening and background checks.
Responsibilities
- Inspect appliances and furniture prior to loading to ensure acceptable condition.
- Accurately and safely load the truck, scanning and verifying items against delivery invoices.
- Assist in delivering and installing products safely and on schedule.
- Report any pick-up or delivery issues to dispatch and document on paperwork.
- Record start and end times at each stop for productivity tracking.
- Provide outstanding customer service at every delivery.
- Assist driver by spotting when backing up the truck.
- Help maintain an organized truck by folding blankets and storing equipment.
- Perform truck equipment/supply checklist before routes.
- Support warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; OR 1 year of delivery/warehouse experience.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Valid state driver’s license with safe driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift/move heavy items.
- Strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and customer service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
