What are the responsibilities and job description for the Style Advisor position at 9Tailors Boston?
We believe custom clothing is a powerful means of self-expression, and that great fit belongs to every body. At 9Tailors Boston, the Style Advisor is the client’s first and most important relationship with our brand. You’ll guide clients through a high-touch, personalized experience from first contact through final fitting.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build and manage a personal client book with proactive, personalized outreach
- Offer expert styling, fit, and sizing guidance across suits, shirts, and accessories
- Mark garments and record alteration instructions with care and precision
- Support visual merchandising and showroom presentation standards
- Help develop fit guides and lookbooks to reduce alteration costs
- Stay current on fabric, trend, and product knowledge for all body types
- Assist with digital marketing and social media content as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in custom garments, bespoke tailoring, or made-to-measure clothing preferred.
- Experience planning/coordinating client events or brand activations is a plus.
- Passion for personal styling, fabric knowledge, and client education.
- Ability to translate technical product knowledge into an engaging client experience.
