The position is responsible for designing and leading primary market research to inform brand strategy, patient engagement, and HCP (Healthcare Professional) interactions, specifically within a rare disease context.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Research & Strategy Design and lead end-to-end primary market research (both qualitative and quantitative) to guide brand strategy, campaign development, and customer engagement. Manage key quantitative studies (e.g., ATU, Promo Effectiveness) and ad hoc pulse surveys. Identify knowledge gaps and proactively recommend research approaches to address them. Stakeholder Collaboration & Insight Activation Work closely with HCP and Patient Marketing teams to align strategic tactics and messaging. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales, and Advanced Analytics teams to embed insights into strategic planning. Present findings and strategic recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders. Vendor & Project Management Manage external research partners to ensure high-quality, compliant, and timely project execution. Drive project deadlines independently and effectively. Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: BA/BS degree is required. Experience: 8 years of total experience, including at least 4 years of direct involvement in market research. Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in rare disease research, with an understanding of small patient populations and diagnostic journeys. Methodology: Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies. Core Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Proven ability to influence brand strategy through data-driven insights. Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presence. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPH, PhD). Exposure to advanced analytics or forecasting. Experience with large data sets or integrating data-driven insights.
