Duties
- Install, remove, and repair tires on commercial trucks and automobiles, trailers, and heavy-duty vehicles with precision and efficiency
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires for wear, damage, and safety compliance
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete tire service tasks safely and accurately
- Assist with vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, and basic mechanical diagnostics
- Maintain detailed records of all tire services performed and communicate findings to customers or supervisors
- Support sales efforts by recommending appropriate tire solutions and related automotive services to customers
Requirements
- Dealership or commercial repair experience preferred; familiarity with commercial vehicle maintenance is a plus
- Proven mechanic experience with strong commercial diagnostics skills
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, tire technology, and maintenance procedures
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and commercial service equipment
- Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment safely during service tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to learn about heavy-duty vehicle systems
- Willing to work nights and or weekends.
