Duties

- Communicate with Chinese-speaking patients to provide medication instructions, answer questions, and support patient care needs
- Support intake processes by verifying patient information and processing prescriptions accurately
- Administer medications under supervision, including IV infusions and medication administration in hospital or clinical settings
- Maintain detailed records of medication dispensing, patient interactions, and inventory logs in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Follow strict aseptic techniques during medication preparation to ensure patient safety and prevent contamination
Skills
- Fluency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) for effective communication with diverse patient populations
- Prior experience working in LTC (Long-Term Care) pharmacy or hospital settings with exposure to critical care environments
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmacy, acute care, and hospital procedures
- Strong understanding of medication administration protocols within hospital or clinical environments
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care and clear communication
