The Pharmacist-in-Charge’s (PIC) primary responsibility is to ensure adherence to the pharmacy’s SOPs and to state and federal regulations, serving as the pharmacy’s Compliance Officer and driving business growth initiatives. The PIC directly supervises pharmacists. The PIC ensures production goals are achieved, assists with investigations, assists in daily operational pharmacist duties, and monitors pharmacist training and licenses to ensure all is up to date. Additionally, the PIC will perform routine pharmacist duties, such as dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners, educating patients about medications and their use, and advising physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.QualificationsLeadership and managerial experience in pharmacy.PharmD required.A minimum of five years of experience required.Employment Type: Full TimeYears Experience: 3 - 5 yearsSalary: $62 - $85 HourlyBonus/Commission: No
