986 Degrees Corporation is recruiting on behalf of all 986 Pharmacies. 986 Pharmacy is the hiring entity, not 986 Degrees Corporation.Hiring Locations and Language Requirements:Koreatown, Los Angeles, CA (Retail Pharmacy)Language Requirement: KoreanRosemead, CA (Retail Pharmacy)Language Requirement: Mandarin, Cantonese, or VietnamesePasadena, CA (Retail Pharmacy)No language requirementJob Summary:The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners, educating patients about medications and their use, and may advise physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications, and depending on the circumstance may have delegated decision-making authority for items that fall under the context of their license.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitors patients’ drug therapies, advises on the safe use of medications, and informs of potential side effects.Completes MTMs.Dispenses medications as prescribed by physicians and other health practitionersVerifies order entries, maintains records of controlled substances, changes and removes expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.Completes all clinical services provided by the pharmacy, as directed (vaccinations, blood pressure/temperature measurements, diabetes management, etc.).Maintains records of patient history.Ensures compliance with all relevant legal procedures, regulations, and rules that regulate the pharmaceutical practice.Responds to or assists PIC with audits and inspections from various regulatory agencies, as directed.Management of personnel may be required in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager/PIC, as directed..Qualifications:Valid California Pharmacist License in good standingBachelor's in pharmacy or PharmDAbility to work flexible hours, as requiredBenefits We Offer:Paid Vacation TimePaid Sick TimePaid Holidays401(k) Retirement Plan with company match up to 4%Health Insurance coverage, includes Medical, Dental, and VisionIf you have any questions regarding this position, please contact (626) 399-0278.
