Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and satisfied throughout their dining experience.
Preference if have VT server certificate and knowledge on making drinks
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations to ensure a sanitized environment.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy shifts.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions effectively.
- Knowledge of culinary practices is a plus, enhancing your ability to recommend menu items.
- Familiarity with sanitation standards to maintain a clean working environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Pay range is estimated as it will be server VT minimum wage plus tips. You may make less or more then estimated range.
