Job Overview

Your role will involve working with various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros, to process orders efficiently.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and food items with precision and care.
- Operate the Aloha POS and Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Adhere to food safety and handling regulations while preparing food items.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Familiarity with food preparation and safety standards in the food industry.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math applications.
- Experience with cash handling and cashiering duties is an asset.
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food service operations is beneficial.
