Job Summary:
Our company is seeking a skilled handyman with construction and electrical experience to maintain and repair our properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in various areas such as plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, minor welding, and general maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct general maintenance tasks such as repairing fences, painting, and repairing equipment
- Repair or install plumbing fixtures, irrigation systems, and septic systems
- Anticipate and coordinate with the Property Management Director to carry out preventative and seasonal maintenance activities for project buildings and grounds which includes: exterior painting, cleaning gutters, furnace filters, refrigerator coils, systems analysis, security analysis, planned grounds keeping (including pesticide and application), mowing, edging, pruning, planting, fencing repair, interior painting, energy conservation, and roofing repair.
- Maintain a clean and safe shop area. Maintain equipment and vehicles in safe and efficient working condition.
- Night and weekend emergency on-call work is required on a rotating basis as determined by organizational need
Requirements:
- General maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
