What You'll Do (and make a lasting impression!):

As our Host(ess), you are the director of first impressions and the orchestrator of our dining room flow. Your responsibilities will include:

• The Warm Welcome: Greeting every guest with a genuine smile and enthusiastic welcome, making them feel instantly comfortable and valued.
• Seating with Strategy: Managing our seating chart and waitlist efficiently, ensuring guests are seated promptly at appropriate tables, balancing server sections, and managing guest expectations during busy periods.
• A Helping Hand: Answering phones, filling beverage glasses when requested, and providing accurate information about our menu, hours, and specials.
• Maintaining the Vibe: Keeping the host stand, waiting area, and entryway clean, organized, and inviting.
• Guiding the Journey: Escorting guests to their tables, presenting menus, and often offering a pleasant start to their dining experience.
• Guest Liaison: Politely addressing guest inquiries, offering directions, and handling minor concerns with grace and a solution-oriented approach.
• Team Support: Assisting bussers with light table clearing or setting as needed, helping maintain overall dining room readiness.
• Anticipating Needs: Observing the dining room and proactively communicating with servers and management regarding table availability and guest flow.

What You Bring to Our Table:

• An exceptionally friendly and outgoing personality! You genuinely enjoy interacting with people.
• Strong communication skills: You're clear, polite, and confident in your interactions.
• Excellent organizational abilities: You can manage a busy door and multiple tasks with ease.
• Professional and polished appearance.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure during peak breakfast and brunch rushes.
• Punctuality and reliability: You're an early riser and always on time for your shifts.
• Physical stamina: You're comfortable standing and moving for extended periods.
• Previous experience in a host/hostess role is a plus, but not required! We are happy to train enthusiastic individuals with the right attitude.
