We are seeking a dedicated safety champion to drive our facility toward a zero-incident safety culture and a minimal environmental footprint. In this onsite role, you will ensure total regulatory compliance, eliminate workplace hazards, and lead sustainability initiatives to systematically reduce waste and energy consumption.Core Responsibilities
- Culture Transformation: Lead and support plant-wide initiatives to shift mindsets toward zero accidents.
- Program Oversight: Coordinate, deploy, and monitor all facility Health & Safety programs.
- Incident Investigation: Manage the reporting system, conduct root-cause analysis, and close out non-conformances.
- Change Management: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on safety for new engineering projects and process changes.
- Hazard Mitigation: Create technical guidance programs to actively identify and eliminate physical workplace hazards.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with regional leaders to build the long-term HSE blueprint master plan.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven background in Environmental Health and Safety within a manufacturing environment.
- Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of regulatory reporting, ISO standards, and environmental compliance.
- Certifications: Completed EHS training under relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DNREC).
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Injury Management, Ergonomics, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to influence and engage teams at all organizational levels.
Pay: $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
