Duties
- Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, setting a lively and inviting tone for their visit
- Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing accurate information and assisting with reservations or questions
- Take and process orders accurately at the cashier station, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with confidence
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and cashier area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Assist in coordinating guest flow during busy times to minimize wait times and enhance guest satisfaction
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or Cashier in food service or restaurant settings preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Experience in food service, hospitality, or hotel environments is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and guest relations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a lively, energetic demeanor
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional guest interaction standards
