Duties
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and supplies are ready for use.
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during operations while anticipating their needs
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to minimize risks of contamination.
- Collect and document data related to surgical procedures, including instrument counts and patient information.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Surgical Technologist .
- Knowledge of human physiology, basic life support techniques, and aseptic techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and infection control practices.
- Multi speciality surgery center experience
