Committed to the education, advancement, and overall well-being of today's youth, we are dedicated to preparing young individuals aged 12 to 25 for the challenges and opportunities of the future. Through our innovative programs, both in-person and remote, we strive to empower youth and create a global community that fosters positive change.,

This position is offered on an unpaid and voluntary basis. Selected candidate will be required to sign a guaranteed 6-month contract.

Position Overview

We are seeking a charismatic and strategic-minded Director of Operations to lead and optimize our organization’s operational functions. Must be able to work 10-15 hours a week.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives, focuses on scalability, and sustainable growth.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and workflows, eliminating inefficiencies and enhancing productivity.
  • Train, mentor and lead a high performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and manage the internship program, being responsible for signing off on hours for school credit
  • Set expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure individual and team success.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing effective controls and processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to facilitate effective communication and coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
  • Strong track record of successful implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven capacity to empathize with colleagues, customers, and team members to foster a supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, industry standards, and the best practices in the operations management.
