Building Name: ECH - Elizabethtown Community Health Center Location Address: 66 Park Street, Elizabethtown New York Regular Department: ECH - Physical Therapy Part Time Standard Hours: 25 Biweekly Scheduled Hours: Shift: Variable-8Hr Primary Shift: - Weekend Needs: None Salary Range: Min $33.93 Mid $44.41 Max $54.88 Recruiter: Aaron Ducatte DESCRIPTION: The Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, evidence-based care to patients participating in outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs. The RN assists patients in restoring and improving functional capacity through supervised exercise training, patient education, risk-factor modification, and ongoing health coaching. The RN conducts clinical assessments, monitors patient response to exercise, identifies and responds to clinical concerns, and provides patient-centered education aligned with AACVPR, CMS, and other relevant guidelines. The RN works collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team to support patients recovering from cardiac events, thoracic surgeries, and pulmonary disease. EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing education program and holds a current license as a Registered Professional Nurse in NYS. BLS required, successful completion of ACLS within six months EXPERIENCE: Experience with ECG/telemetry interpretation Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Ability to manage emergent patient needs Experience in cardiac rehab, pulmonary rehab, cardiology, respiratory care, ICU/ED/telemetry preferred This is a bargaining union position.
