Job Overview

The Commercial Electrician Top Helper will assist in the installation and support of commercial electrical systems on active construction projects in Raleigh, NC. This role provides hands-on experience working directly with skilled electricians while contributing to safe and efficient project completion.

Work Scope & Responsibilities

• Assist with running conduit
• Pull wire and support cable management
• Install light fixtures
• Assist with panel installation
• Use basic electrical hand tools properly and safely
• Follow direction from journeyman electricians and site supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Work safely on lifts and elevated areas
  
  

Top Helper Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of commercial electrical experience
• Experience assisting with conduit installation, wire pulling, and fixture installation
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Must bring own basic hand tools
• PPE required (harness, lanyard, and yo-yo for elevated work) — safety gear can be provided if needed
• Ability to safely work on lifts and at heights
• Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsite
• Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and dependability
