OPPORTUNITY
This Growth Director role is a unique opportunity for high-performing sales and business development professionals to join a high-growth organization that is dedicated to building and enterprise-wide sales and account management team to drive new growth for the firm. This role will be focused on driving revenue growth through the creation of new opportunities with strategic client targets and identification of opportunities for the client account management team.
The LBMC Growth Director will serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients within designated disciplines to facilitate the closing of deals and ensuring clients receive requested products, services and information about LBMC in a timely manner.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Identify, develop, and drive new relationships for LBMC in the marketplace in conjunction with growth plans for the firm. Research / qualify all sales leads to determine potential of securing new business
- Represent LBMC at different events across the country - including conferences and training events, trade shows - where LBMC is a sponsor or participant
- Strive to confidently describe service capabilities and how LBMC can provide a high quality service to meet client business needs
- Actively attend networking events to form relationships with decision makers in the marketplace
- Promote growth mindset for management teams across the firm, working in partnership with service line and industry segment Shareholders to identify key clients and develop sales action plans
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Liaise between our clients and internal teams and marketing team to ensure the deal is set, understood, and can be delivered with quality
- Focus on upselling and cross selling firm services to strategic targets (Expand)
- Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership and exploring opportunities to add value to the client/LBMC partnership
- Responsible for working to onboard new clients, ensuring a smooth transition
- Works diligently building relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations to continue to foster a long-term partnership. High-performing individuals will be alert to client needs for the possible expansion of services to other LBMC service lines
- Adheres to LBMC’s defined processes and procedures including the firm's policy on privacy and client confidentiality. Knows and follows the rules, regulations, and the Code of Professional Conduct of the AICPA, the Tennessee Society of CPAs, the Tennessee Board of Public Accountancy, and other regulating bodies as appropriate.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 10 years of outbound, hunter, sales experience in a professional services environment
- Proven experience in a consultative selling model
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
- Able to generate a positive first impression for LBMC
- Willing to use resources/tools to maximize reach out efforts
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Excellent listening, negotiation, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Willingness to make the ask – outreach – cultivate cold contacts
- Develop marketing intelligence and target lists in conjunction with marketing
- Resilient and determined – results oriented
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
