POSITION TITLE: Waste-Water Driver

DEPARTMENT: Waste-Water Services 

REPORTS TO: Waste Services Director 

DESCRIPTION: The successful applicant will be responsible for collecting and transporting 55-gallon drums of petroleum contact water received at convenience stores.  Collecting waste from other containments at convenience stores. Then, disposing of such waste at approved facilities for processing while following all regulations and client requirements.  Represent and promote MVI in a courteous and cordial manner, building client confidence and maximum efficiency. Must have a clean driving record and the ability to travel on a regular basis. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

·        Ability to understand and follow instructions in English  

·        Have a valid U.S. driver’s license and eligible to work in the United States.

·        Clean driving record 

·        Ability to drive and maintain the company service truck 

·        Travel throughout the work week (company paid travel expenses) 

·        Responsible for following company expense policy and submitting receipts.

·        Complete a pre-employment drug test, physical (including DOT), and      

comprehensive background check. 

·        Maintain company vehicles and equipment in good operating condition, including

having vehicle serviced for preventative maintenance. 

·        Submit all reports timely and accurately in software systems 

EXPECTATIONS: 

·        Ability to lift up to 70 pounds 

·        Ability to follow strict safety and technical protocols 

·        Able to kneel, stand, lean, bend, sit, walk on uneven surfaces, and drive for long

distances 

·        Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions 

·        Basic computer skills and ability to navigate applications on smartphones 

·        Experience using handheld tools 

·        Professional appearance and attitude

·        Drivers are expected to pick up/drop off based on the assigned route within the

assigned timeframe 

·        Accurately report on waste moved using company provided smartphone 

·        Have attention to detail and an outstanding work ethic
