Pay Rate and Benefits:
- Full-time, hourly position with a pay range of $28-$30/hour, commensurate with experience

Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience as a Maintenance or Repair Technician, or a graduate or upcoming graduate from a Vocational/Trade/Technical School
- Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and tools
- Ability to work with your hands and operate power tools and equipment
- Experience with preventative maintenance
- Ability to be on call, on occasion, at night and/or on weekends
- Must have a valid driver’s license with no points or infractions
- Experience with carwash equipment repairs a plus, but not required
- Experience operating a snowplow is desired, but not required
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and ask for help when needed
- Ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with other MVI teammates and customers (Airport Authority and Rental Car Agencies) and to contribute to team efforts
- Must exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Use MVI proprietary software to create service tickets for all work performed and perform inspections as required by the Facility Manager
- Assist the management team with a variety of projects based on facility needs including, but not limited to, the following:
- Cleaning-complete various facility cleaning projects using a variety of different chemicals, products and tools
- Eye Wash Stations-perform weekly inspections and preventative maintenance
- Fire Extinguishers and Cabinets-perform weekly inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance
- Perform monthly facility inspection and upload information in software system
- Perform other inspections as directed by the management team
- Painting-clean and prepare different areas of the facility for painting, use different paints and stains to complete projects
- Plumbing-perform inspections, minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and projects – toilet, urinal, faucet fixtures, water fountains, eye wash stations
- Scissor Lift-perform tasks at elevated heights using the scissor lift
- High dusting and cleaning- including light fixtures, high cross beams, and corners
- Pressure Washing-pressure wash specific areas as directed
- Car Wash– train to become familiar with the general operation and maintenance of the car wash systems
- Vacuum Turbines and Systems-cleaning vacuum knockouts and separators
- Fuel System-perform a visual monthly inspection of the fuel system, replace dispenser hanging hardware parts, respond to emergencies, dispatch petroleum equipment
- Fuel Drops-Be available to meet fuel carriers at the facility for fuel drops when needed
- Spill Buckets-perform the weekly cleaning of the fuel drop remote fill “Spill Buckets” and complete the monthly spill bucket inspection
- Spill Cabinets-stock spill cabinet’s spill/absorbents weekly and as needed
- Responsible for snow and ice removal equipment and process-ability to use all snow and ice removal equipment and make necessary repairs to equipment as needed
- Expansion Joint Maintenance-properly clean and maintain the expansion joints throughout the facility and the equipment used to perform those tasks
- Concrete Maintenance and Crack Chasing-perform concrete inspections, repair cracks in the concrete by “crack chasing”, and become proficient using equipment and tools required to perform these tasks
- Caulking: assist the Facility Manager with any facility caulking projects
- Gates and Doors: perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs of the gates, office doors, and car wash doors
- Utility and Transportation Vehicles: gain a working knowledge of MVI utility vehicles and transportation vehicles, perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs to the vehicles
- Prepare facility for inclement weather and remove snow and ice, as needed
- Complete and pass OSHA online training module
- Must be able to work in an indoor/outdoor field environment and to travel to different sites as needed
- Must be able and willing to train other employees on equipment and systems
- Must be able to work on a site that includes exposure to noise, dust, grease and extreme weather and temperature conditions
- Must be able to have sufficient physical ability and the ability to walk, stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, climb and make repetitive hand movement to perform daily duties
- Must be able to push and pull heavy amounts of weight
- Must be able to see in the normal visual range with or without correction
- Must be able to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction
- Other projects that may arise not listed – structural, equipment, facility systems, and individual Rental Car Agency space common requests and repairs
