Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers accurately, handling all cash, credit card, and digital payments with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Assist customers by answering questions about products, offering product demos, and upselling items to enhance their shopping experience.
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or coordinating store operations.
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store remains inviting and well-presented.
• Conduct retail sales transactions efficiently while managing the cash drawer with integrity and accuracy.
• Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring products are properly labeled and stocked.
• Provide friendly customer service by guiding shoppers through their purchases, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction.

Skills

• Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations for smooth transactions.
• Previous supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team.
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for pricing, discounts, and inventory counts.
• Strong communication skills to engage customers effectively and work collaboratively with team members.
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs better.
• Experience in stocking, merchandising, and product demos to enhance store presentation.
• Knowledge of grocery or retail store operations is beneficial for understanding inventory flow and customer service expectations.
