DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage session calendars and all writers produces and artists' calendars
- Book studio time and coordinate production, mixing and mastering services
- Manage, organize and prioritize album recording sessions and related logistics & travel
- Organize, maintain and collate audio turned in from writing or recording sessions
- Manage and maintain internal audio databases
- Draft all creative briefs and run point on monthly creative brief mailouts
- Monitor and itemize expenses incurred from recording, mixing, mastering, and travel for writing/recording sessions
- Liaise with A&R team and Business Affairs to ensure contracts with producers, mixers, remixers, featured artists & samples, etc are closed and filed correctly
- Gather information from artists/producers from recordings sessions and deliver to A&R team members and Product Managers to be processed for label copy and publishing
- Create monthly sync & compilation mailers
- Manage A&R team schedules
- Scout for new publishing prospects
- Organize and attend shows and showcases of both signed and unsigned artists
- Handle confidential matters appropriately and with discretion
- General administration duties
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two years experience at a label, publisher or music management company.
- Ability to build strong relationships with artists, managers, producers, sound engineers, recording studios, etc.
- Exceptional attention to detail and be professional and personable
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal, excellent organization skills
- Experience gathering and analyzing data, performance statistics, and key performance indicators
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment while juggling multiple tasks and priorities
- Must be able to get results in a timely fashion under any circumstances
- Good understanding of the current musical landscape and interest in creative
● Full-time employment, LA base preferred or willing to move to Los Angeles
