At Oshkosh Marriott Waterfront Hotel & Convention Center, our Banquet Setup Crew lays the foundation for every unforgettable event. From weddings and fundraisers to business conferences and community galas, you’re the behind-the-scenes powerhouse that helps create spaces that shine. You’ll transform empty ballrooms into beautifully arranged venues—and reset them with precision and pride.
We’re looking for someone who’s reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating a flawless first impression—someone who sees setup not just as tables and chairs, but as the first step to a memorable experience.
What you'll bring to our team:
-
A strong work ethic; you show up ready to move, lift, and bring the vision to life
-
Attention to detail; you follow diagrams and instructions carefully to match event specs
-
Dependability; you’re someone the team can count on to be where they need to be
-
Flexibility; you’re comfortable working early mornings, late nights, or in-between as events require
-
Team spirit; you coordinate closely with captains, banquet staff, and the AV team to stay aligned
-
Pride in presentation; you understand that even the setup makes an impression on guests
Why you'll love working for us:
-
Marriott Hotel discounts
-
Satisfaction in seeing the immediate impact of your work
-
A team that supports you and appreciates your effort
-
Opportunities for growth in event services and hospitality
-
Flexible, event-based scheduling
If you’re someone who enjoys physical, hands-on work, finds satisfaction in a job well done, and wants to be part of a team that creates something meaningful—we’d love to hear from you.
