Description/Job Summary
Merchandising is presentation, and product presentation is an art of display techniques using colors, price, product appearance, brand and seasonality. Every display is placed strategically throughout the store to create customer interest, and capture their attention and draw the customer into that area, with one specific purpose-to sell merchandise.Responsibilities/Duties
- Plan/develop/design merchandising strategies that balance customers' expectations and 84's objectives
- Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
- Physically implement layout plans for stores
- Build constructive relationships and team with channel partners
- Remain up to date with industry's best practices
- Work closely with buyers and other merchandisers to perform the team's objectives
- Meetings with suppliers, and store associates
- Maintain budgets
- Creating presentations for senior managers
- Occasionally support the operations at the Sign Shop, Logo Shop & 84 Fitness
