Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and set up catering stations, ensuring all food and beverage items are presented attractively and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages with professionalism, maintaining high standards of guest service and hospitality.
• Manage food handling and safety protocols in accordance with health regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Assist with food preparation, including basic cooking, plating, and garnishing to meet event specifications.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, accommodating special requests, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Buss tables promptly after service, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the event.
• Support event setup and breakdown, including transporting supplies and ensuring all areas are tidy and ready for the next phase of the event.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or catering is highly preferred; culinary experience is a plus.
• Strong guest service skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with banquet style service
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, food preparation techniques, and food handling practices, Must Possess or Retain a food handlers certificate for California food safety upon hiring.
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork orientation, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience with catering for large events such as weddings or corporate events is advantageous but not required.
