Summary
828 Urgent Care is looking for a back office MA with 1-2 years of experience, has the ability to independently handle a fast paced environment and works well with a team. You must be comfortable with performing Lab testing as we have a moderate complexity lab and most of our testing is done in house. The shifts will range from 10 to 12 hours with rotating weekends and Holidays. **Bilingual (Spanish Speaker) is a MUST** This position is essential in maintaining the efficiency of our urgent care operations and enhancing patient experiences. The pay scale will be based on experience and discussed at the time of the in person interview.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and recording patient histories.
- Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Manage patient flow to optimize efficiency in the center.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
- Perform lab testing, blood draws, injections, splinting, dispensing medicine, breathing treatments and help with maintaining all necessary lab protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant with 1-2 years of back office.
- Knowledge of Fluent Spanish is a must.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to perform basic clinical tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is beneficial.
- Basic Life Support Certification
