816 Collective is growing our Kansas City team and seeking a motivated, outgoing Marketing & Promotions Assistant to support the execution of client marketing, promotional, and sales campaigns.

This is a full-time opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is interested in gaining hands-on experience in marketing, brand promotion, customer engagement, and business development.

Position Overview

As a Marketing & Promotions Assistant at 816 Collective, you’ll work directly with our marketing team to execute promotional campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, strengthen customer engagement, and drive measurable results for our clients.

You’ll gain hands-on experience working with campaigns from planning through execution while collaborating with team members and leadership to ensure each campaign meets client expectations and performance goals.

Responsibilities

As a Marketing & Promotions Assistant, you will:

• Assist with the planning and execution of client marketing and promotional campaigns
• Represent client brands professionally during in-person marketing initiatives
• Engage directly with prospective customers to educate them on client products and services
• Deliver effective marketing and sales presentations tailored to consumer needs
• Track campaign performance, customer acquisition, and sales results
• Collaborate with members of the marketing and sales teams to achieve campaign goals
• Maintain promotional materials and assist with campaign preparation
• Develop a strong understanding of client products, services, pricing, and competitive advantages
• Communicate campaign progress and results with Campaign Managers and company leadership
• Participate in ongoing training focused on marketing, sales, communication, leadership, and professional development

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are motivated, professional, and comfortable working directly with people.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Background or education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Sales, or a related field
• Previous experience in marketing, sales, customer service, communications, hospitality, athletics, or other team-oriented environments is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and positive attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Basic proficiency with MacOS, Windows, and mobile technology
• Ability to communicate consistently with campaign management and leadership
