Location: Windsor Run by Erickson Senior Living Join our team as a Program Coordinator (Continuing Care) to support the delivery of engaging, therapeutic programming that enhances the lives of residents across our Continuing Care neighborhoods, including Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Long-Term Care. In this role, you will partner closely with the Programming Manager to design, coordinate, and lead meaningful programs that support residents’ physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well-being. This position blends hands-on resident engagement with team support and program coordination, making it ideal for someone who is both creative and operationally strong. What We Offer Compensation: starting at $48,000 per year (based on experience) A culture of diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging rooted in our mission, vision, and values Medical, dental, and vision benefits with wellness reimbursement options PTO plans PLUS company-paid volunteer hours 401(k) with company match Onsite medical centers and wellness programs for team members and families Education assistance, certification reimbursement, and access to 6,000 courses Growth opportunities within a national senior living organization Compensation: Commensurate with experience How You Will Make an Impact Design, plan, and lead therapeutic, recreational, and life-enrichment programs that support resident engagement and well-being across Continuing Care Facilitate both group and one-on-one activities in common areas and resident rooms, adapting to varying levels of physical and cognitive ability Build meaningful relationships with residents and families to better understand preferences, needs, and interests Assist with resident assessments, documentation, and contributions to care plans and MDS Monitor changes in resident condition and adjust programming accordingly to ensure activities remain purposeful and engaging Coordinate and support special events, outings, entertainment, and community partnerships Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (Nursing, Social Work, Dining, etc.) to enhance the overall resident experience Support oversight of Program Assistants, volunteers, and activities in the absence of the Programming Manager Create and maintain weekly programming schedules and event communications for residents and families Manage program supplies, equipment, and vendor coordination Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company documentation requirements What You Will Need Minimum of 4 years of experience in Recreation, Activities, or Programming (or 3 years as a Programming Assistant) Experience working with older adults across varying levels of care, including Memory Care preferred Understanding of the dementia process and person-centered care approaches Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead group activities and engage residents with different abilities and needs Comfortable with documentation, scheduling, and program coordination Certification (or eligibility) such as ADC or CTRS preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends Windsor Run is a beautiful 60-acre continuing care retirement community in the town of Matthews in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
