Duties
- Lead and supervise landscaping crews to execute lawn care, planting, pruning, and grounds maintenance tasks efficiently and safely
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities include hardscape construction, and tree care projects, mulch beds,
- Manage construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment and company vehicles responsibly while adhering to safety protocols
- Coordinate with clients and team members to plan landscaping layouts that enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, equipment usage, and crew performance for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance roles with strong team management skills
- Extensive outdoor work experience including lawn care, gardening, and grounds equipment operation
- Skilled in landscape installation techniques such as hardscape features (patios, walkways) and tree care practices
- Ability to identify plants accurately and apply appropriate horticultural practices
- Construction experience related to outdoor projects is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
