Estimated Appointment End Date (Continuous if Blank) Full/Part-Time Full time Job Type Regular Compensation Monthly/Annual Salary: $3,593.34 Monthly / $43,120.08 Annual Job Description Basic Purpose Position interprets for different school functions, conferences, meetings, assemblies, IEP meetings, medical meetings with nursing staff, parent homes and sorority when requested and psychological testing when requested. Assist in special programs and activities when interpreting is necessary. Attend in-service training as scheduled and interpret workshops as required to keep certification current. Typical Functions Level Descriptor Education and Experience State certification through DRS/QAST (Quality Assurance Screening Test). National certification through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies Special Requirements Additional Job Description Position is located at Oklahoma School for the Deaf in Sulphur. Preferred Qualifications: American Sign Language Skills.
