The ideal candidate will use computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software to develop, visualize, and document architectural designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements. This role is central to translating conceptual designs into technical drawings and construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop accurate architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models using CADD software.
Ensure precision and detail in all technical drawings, adhering to building codes and project specifications.
Modify, update, and optimize architectural designs in collaboration with architects and project teams.
Generate detailed construction documents, blueprints, and technical specifications for contractors and clients.
Create realistic visualizations and renderings to support design presentations.
Assist in preparing files for permitting, construction, and digital applications such as 3D printing or BIM.
Maintain organized drawing sets, documentation, and revision control throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design intent and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in architectural CADD software (e.g., AutoCAD Architecture, Revit, SketchUp, or similar).
Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building systems, and construction documentation.
