This per diem role focuses on providing coverage and support for acute visits within our primary care clinic. Experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train a new graduate who’s eager to learn and grow in a supportive, team-based environment. At AHMC, our providers work collaboratively to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You’ll play a key role in promoting access to primary and preventive health services, coordinating specialty care, and supporting the overall wellness of our community. Education & Certification Requirements Physician Assistant (PA): Completion of an ARC-PA approved program (or pre-2001 CAAHEP program) Current NCCPA certification required Nurse Practitioner (NP): Completion of a master’s, post-master’s, or doctorate from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program Current ANCC or equivalent national certification required Scope of Practice The scope of practice and delineation of NP/PA privileges are credentialed and approved by the Chief of Medicine, Credentials Committee, Medical Executive Committee, Hospital CEO, and Executive Board of AHMC.
