What are the responsibilities and job description for the Café Cook position at 7th Street Casino?
The primary objective of the Café Cook is to serve well executed menu items, while adhering to proper food handling and sanitation. Must be 18 years or older, have reliable transportation and able to work nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Be able to properly use all kitchen equipment safely and understand knife safety
- Experience in a restaurant kitchen environment
- Ability to take direction and perform tasks with limited supervision
- Must be able to effectively work alone and/or with other team members in a team environment
- Ability to verbally communicate using appropriate English standards of language
- Ability to handle adversity in a Casino environment
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a high stress environment
- Ability to have a flexible schedule to provide for Casino operational needs
