What are the responsibilities and job description for the Care Team Director/Pharmacist position at 7N USA, Inc.?
We are looking for a Care Director as a people leader who is passionate about delivering specialty-prescribed therapies to patients. This critical role will oversee pharmacy operations, manage safety, and supervise personnel in dispensing specialty-prescribed therapies. This position requires an active Missouri Pharmacist license.
This position is expected to be on-site at the facility Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
What the position will be doing
- Support the development of programs for new and existing clients.
- Support the implementation of new client programs or existing clients’ new programs, as necessary.
- Enter patient prescriptions, including prescription review for accuracy of medication and dosage for disease state, and resolving any discrepancies with the prescribing physician.
- Provide patient counseling as required by client program design, internal needs, or regulation
- Verify picked prescription orders for accuracy and accurate labeling.
- Inspect on-hand inventory for integrity, purity, and appropriate expiration dating.
- Handle patient inquiries to counsel and resolve any medical concerns or questions.
- Offer and provide drug counseling in accordance with OBRA standards.
- Perform clinical monitoring activities in conjunction with other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct on-hand inventory and resolve any discrepancies.
- Clean pharmacy and complete pharmacy logbooks.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
- Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practices and innovations in the field.
- Participate appropriately in staff and management meetings and patient care conferences.
- Attend any necessary client meetings.
- Ideate opportunities to build and document clinical services.
- Build non-traditional services to support the unique needs of life sciences clients as needed.
- Other duties as needed or assigned by the business.
Necessary Skills, Education & Abilities
- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, preferably a Master''s in Pharmacy degree or a PharmD.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field of pharmacy.
- A valid and current Missouri state pharmacist license is required. The willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses within 6 months after hire is preferred
- Previous experience in supervising staff is required.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide solutions to complex problems.
- Relentless attention to detail, and the ability to be a creative self-starter and team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to communicate with all levels within an organization, with patients, and with physicians'' offices.

- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Knowledge to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, patients, nurses, and physicians
- Knowledge to work with standard mathematical concepts, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and more advanced mathematical concepts, such as probability.
- Knowledge to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical and clinical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
