Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Position Summary: The Construction Project Manager (CPM) works closely with the Director of Construction and Engineering, Real Estate, and a team of external professional consultants to ensure all construction activities are delivered timely, and accurately to successfully execute complete a portfolio of new to industry projects on time within budget that meet the Company’s development goals for the year. Supports each Construction project with permitting, utilities, equipment, project oversight, and project acceptance. Responsible for all Construction schedules, scopes, and budgets as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages schedule, scope, and budget of assigned projects, including project oversite.
- Conducts a review of engineering information including designs that contain specific civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, and/or architectural detail to obtain contract documents and permits.
- Develop preliminary plans and assist with associated project cost estimations.
- Evaluates current design standards and makes recommendations for design improvements.
- Serves as a liaison between the Company and regulatory authorities to gain interpretations of regulations.
- Expedites Permits and Municipal approvals as required.
- Achieves financial objectives by negotiating rates, scheduling expenditures, monitoring costs, analyzing variances, writing purchase orders, reviewing change orders, and approving invoices.
- Orders Equipment as required for each NTI and ensures equipment aligns with each NTI floor plan.
- Works with internal departments such as Real Estate, Maintenance, IT, Operations, and others as needed.
- Works collaboratively with teams towards site and building optimization.
- Ability to adapt and pivot to meet project scheduling deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architectural or civil engineering or an associate’s degree and 5 years’ experience.
- Minimum 5 Years of Project Management Experience in a Retail environment
- Proficiency in civil and architectural plan review, concept design, entitlement, and permitting.
- Experience in supervising professional consultants through the project life cycle
- Possess a sound understanding and working knowledge of retail construction, engineering, and maintenance.

- Will be required to travel, up to 60%, within specified region or beyond.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 plus annual performance pay incentive and monthly vehicle allowance. Final pay within this range will be based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications. Base pay represents just one part of our total rewards approach.
