Physician- Cardiology

**Position Overview:**

- Join a collaborative team of 12 cardiologists and 6 nurse practitioners.

- Expect robust support from Vascular and Cardiothoracic Surgery teams.

- Office conveniently located near cardiac catheterization labs and the inpatient hospital.

- EKG machines available in all clinic locations. - Equal, rotating call schedule ensures shared responsibility.

- The role encompasses outpatient, inpatient, and on-call duties.

- Engage in rotations between the primary office and satellite clinics for outpatient consultations and inpatient rounds. - Procedures include TAVR, high-risk PCI utilizing Impella or IABP, and Watchman implantations.

- Offer a full spectrum of diagnostic studies.

**Education and Experience Requirements:**

- Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology.

- Open to newly trained fellows as well as practicing cardiologists.

- Required Licensure: Indiana Medical License. - Certifications: Maintenance of BLS and ACLS is essential.

**Candidate Qualifications:**

- Must possess an active Indiana State License or IMLC.

- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible (Certification should be achieved within 5 years post-residency).

- Experience: No minimum years required for applicants; newly trained fellows are encouraged to apply.

- Influenza vaccination is mandatory unless a medical or religious exemption is provided.

- Certifications: ACLS is required for conscious sedation privileges, while BLS is mandatory across all specialties.
