Responsibilities- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients with cardiac conditions
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as echocardiograms and stress tests
- Manage chronic cardiovascular diseases and coordinate care with other specialists
- Educate patients about lifestyle changes and preventive measures
- Stay current with advancements in cardiology and incorporate best practices
- Participate in case discussions and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Engage in community outreach and patient education initiatives
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Cardiology is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a cardiology setting
- Strong diagnostic and procedural skills related to cardiovascular care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
- Knowledge of patient care technology and electronic health records (EHR)
Schedule: 4-5 shifts per week, 8a-5p
No call required
Setting: Clinic
Duties: Ancillary cardiology testing (echo, CT, nuclear med, and stress testing)
Interventional work available if interested
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
