Locum - Physician - Family Medicine

**Job Overview:** -

**Shift Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

- **Patient Load:** Approximately 20 patients per day -

**Support Staff:** Each provider will have one Medical Assistant (MA) and one Patient Access Representative (PAR)

• **Current EHR System:** Cerner

**Required Skills and Procedures:** - Proficient in Adult Outpatient care

- Experience in Pediatric General Outpatient care - Competence in Gynecology procedures, including pelvic exams and pap smears

- Ability to interpret EKGs - Must be well-versed and comfortable managing patients across all age groups from newborns to geriatrics

**Operational Notes:** - As of July 1, 2023, providers are required to use DocTime for clocking in and out through reverse invoicing.

**Shift Details:** - Consistent hours: Monday - Friday (8 AM - 5 PM only)

**Candidate Requirements:** - **Board Certification:** Mandatory in Family Medicine

• **Licensure:** Must hold an active Michigan medical license at the time of name clearance

• **Experience:** Demonstrated experience in Family Medicine is essential

• **Geographic Preference:** Candidates should ideally be local to Michigan

- **Eligibility:** Consideration is limited to candidates residing in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin - **Self-Query NPDB:** Must be completed within the month prior to presentation

**Certification Standards:** - Candidates must be Board Certified in Family Medicine.

**Licensing Requirements:** - Valid medical license in the state of Michigan is a prerequisite.
