As a Locum NP or PA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care within our hospital setting. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving the health outcomes of our patients while you work alongside a team of experienced medical professionals.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results accurately
- Provide patient education and counseling to promote wellness
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Assist in coordinating inpatient care and discharge planning
- Stay informed on best practices and advances in internal medicine
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Associate degree in a relevant field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Experience in internal medicine or a related specialty preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Professional demeanor and strong ethical standards
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: 7p-7a, sporadic shifts
Nightly Census: 10-15 patients, 1-2 admits, and floor calls
No procedures or ICU cases
Support Staff: Nocturnist MD
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
Salary : $90 - $100
