Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Perform surgical procedures as needed, including cesarean sections
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to enhance patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Guide patients through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care
- Stay current with medical guidelines and best practices in Ob/Gyn
- Participate in departmental meetings and clinical reviews
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree
- Completion of residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Kentucky
- Excellent clinical and surgical skills in Ob/Gyn
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice
- Experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory
Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a-7a
Daily Volume: 3-5 deliveries
Support Staff: CNM
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified
DEA required
Paid travel & expenses.
