As a Locum MD in Maternal Fetal Medicine, you will play a critical role in assessing and managing high-risk pregnancies, collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with high-risk pregnancies
- Provide diagnosis, treatment, and management of maternal and fetal conditions
- Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Perform advanced ultrasound and diagnostic procedures
- Offer counseling and education to patients regarding their conditions
- Monitor and interpret fetal well-being through various testing methods
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
- MD degree with specialization in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Board certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine is preferred
- Associate-level experience in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical skills in managing high-risk pregnancies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
Level III NICU
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Daily Patient Census: 30 OP, 10 IP, and 10 admissions
Support Staff: 2 perinatologists, 3 OB/GYNs, 2 neonatologists, 3 CRNPs, 5 CNMs, NICU in-house midlevel providers
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
