As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images, collaborating closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
- Interpret medical images and provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings and patient care
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology and medical imaging technology
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Provide excellent patient care and communication throughout the imaging process
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of North Carolina
- Experience in radiology, with a strong understanding of imaging techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus

No call requirement
