As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our patients. This position allows you to engage in a variety of clinical responsibilities, including routine obstetric and gynecologic care, while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients
- Conduct routine examinations, screenings, and assessments
- Manage prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary
- Consult with specialists and coordinate patient care
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
- Educate patients on health and wellness topics
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
Schedule: 8a-5p, 2-4 days per week
Setting: Outpatient
Daily Census: 20 patients
Anatomy Scan Volume: 32 per day
Duties: Procedures and ultrasounds/ anatomy scans
Procedures: Vaginal deliveries, c-sections, circumcisions, hysteroscopies, hysterectomies, ovarian cystectomies, D&C, etc.
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
