Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients in a family practice setting
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
- Perform routine check-ups and wellness examinations
- Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care
- Educate patients on health management and preventive care
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in ongoing medical education and professional development
- Adhere to all medical protocols and compliance standards
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Current state medical license to practice in Orangeburg
- Experience in family medicine or primary care is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Previous experience as a locum tenens physician is a plus
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
Patient Volume: 20-25 per day when no residents are in-house
Duties: Teach & supervise residents and clinic coverage
Must be board-certified
Paid expenses & travel
Salary : $132,057 - $211,082
