In this on-site role, you will engage in diagnosing and treating a variety of cardiac conditions, participating in patient consultations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and cardiovascular evaluations
- Diagnose and manage a range of cardiac conditions
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
- Educate patients and families about cardiovascular health
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay updated on advancements in cardiology and medical practices
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Current medical license to practice in the state of California
- Associate level experience in cardiology or related field
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with electronic health records and medical software
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
Schedule: 7a-5p, 4-5 consecutive days
Overnight and weekend call, 1:4 rotation
Setting: Inpatient
Daily Census: 15-25 patients, ~ 6 consults
Testing: Echos and TEEs likely
Support Staff: Additional MD, APPs
EMR: Cerner
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
