Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as necessary
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia care plans
- Provide pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia care
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
- Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately
- Educate patients and their families regarding anesthesia and safety
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
Requirements
- Active CRNA license
- Associate degree in Nurse Anesthesia or related field
- Experience in administering anesthesia in surgical settings
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment and drug administration
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Schedule: 7a-3:30p, 40-hour workweeks
No call requirement
Shifts available at hospital and surgery center
Patient Population: Ages 2
Case Types: General surgery, ortho, GI, endo, neurosurgery, spine, vascular, ophthalmology, ENT
Medical supervision
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
