Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia safely and effectively during surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical team members
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and consultations
- Develop and implement anesthesia care plans
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor recovery
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
- Participate in continuous education and training sessions
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field
- Active certification as a Nurse Anesthetist
- Clinical experience in administering anesthesia
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia procedures and equipment
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the respective state
Schedule: Friday-Monday, 10 or 12-hour shifts
Optional night and weekend call shifts
Case Types: Pediatrics, OB, and hearts
Medical Direction: 1:3-4
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
