Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hairstylist role based at 74 mane salon in Hazelwood, NC. The Hairstylist will consult with clients to understand their hair goals, provide cutting, styling, coloring, and treatment services, and recommend appropriate products and maintenance routines. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized workstation, managing appointments, and delivering consistent, professional service. The role involves building lasting client relationships, supporting salon promotions, and contributing to a positive team culture. The Hairstylist is expected to follow salon standards, safety protocols, and state cosmetology regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong Hair Styling skills, including cutting, blowouts, and finishing techniques
• Foundational Cosmetology training and licensure as required by North Carolina regulations
• Knowledge of Hair Care practices, products, and treatments for diverse hair types
• Customer Service and Communication skills to consult effectively and build client loyalty
• Ability to work on-site full-time, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Attention to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in a salon environment
• Willingness to learn new techniques, attend trainings, and adapt to current hair trends
• Previous salon experience or apprenticeship is preferred but not strictly required
