Overview
Great Fit for Retiree or Semi-Retiree. We are looking for a dependable and hands-on individual to manage daily operations at our self-storage facility. You will be the face of the business during office hours, alternating between administrative tasks, customer service, and physical facility upkeep.
Responsibilities
This role is a blend of light customer service, basic property upkeep, and simple administrative tasks. A typical shift looks like this:
- Walk the property at the start of your shift — check that everything is clean, secure, and in order
- Follow up on any rental inquiries that came in since your last shift
- Greet walk-in customers, show available units, and help them get started with a rental
- Keep the office, hallways, and common areas clean and presentable
- Clean vacated storage units and return them to rental-ready condition
- Monitor supply inventory and notify ownership when items need restocking
- Contact approved vendors when a facility issue needs attention (gate, HVAC, etc.)
- Send a brief end-of-shift update to ownership
Requirements
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Warm, friendly, and professional with customers.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Physically able to walk the grounds and perform light manual labor.
- High level of reliability and local to the Lebanon / Cornwall area.
